Michael, a solicitor, joined Templewood in 2011, where his role is to qualify and introduce investment opportunities sourced from his network of family offices and corporates. He is also Templewood’s Compliance Officer.

Michael previously spent 10 years at City of London law firm Field Fisher Waterhouse, where he was head of Transfer Pricing and advised high net worth individuals and blue chip corporations, including Royal Dutch Shell, Orange and Tata Steel.

Before joining Field Fisher Waterhouse, Michael studied law at London University and, upon graduation, qualified as a solicitor at Campbell Hooper. He then trained in international tax and transfer pricing at Deloitte.

Alongside his corporate career, Michael is a recognised commentator on the business of sport, having advised numerous well-known global sports brands. In this capacity, he has written for or been quoted in The Economist, The Wall Street Journal and The Financial Times and has appeared on CNN, BBC and Bloomberg TV, amongst others. He is also a frequent speaker at industry conferences.
